Parvez Qadir is the Founder and Artistic Director of Breaking Barriers, a multi-disciplinary production company.
Winner of the ‘Best Cultural Facilitator’ Award and ‘Artist Of The Year 2018’ in the Rochdale Cultural and Sports Awards.
Parvez facilitates creative projects to raise awareness about social issues by engaging young people in storytelling, exploring themes around identity, youth justice, and health equity, for community development to create social impact and inspire social change.
Breaking Barriers collaborates with local authorities, organisations and schools through the production of short films, theatre plays, binaural audio pieces and outdoor walking tours.
 
Elevation is an invitation to embark upon a creative guided tour across the lands of Blackstone Edge (Littleborough).
